Scratches On Dinnerware

Why does my dinnerware have scratches?

Scratching is a normal part of the use of stoneware and porcelain as well as other dinnerware surfaces. As part of normal use of silverware on the plate surface, you may see scratches or marks on the surface. This is not a defect in the product.

WHITE dinnerware may get silver or gray colored markings, these can be cleaned off the dinnerware using one of two products widely available at the hardwares stores. The first is called Wenol and the second is called ZUD.
